loveyoustepThis episode is shorter. My wife and I were expecting our third child, but found out that we lost him last week. We felt like we were hit with a ton of bricks. Our other two kids took it pretty hard, too.

My wife had to have surgery and seems to be recovering pretty well from that. Emotionally, we are starting to gain more control.

There are couple things that I learned through this experience:

1. Sometimes it’s okay to not be okay

2. Words that I used to think were encouraging didn’t help.

3. Triggers are everywhere, but may not be noticeable.

4. Allow others to help.
