Scott has been an entrepreneur most of his life. He has started “Happen to Your Career,” where he focuses on helping people learn what their talents are and put them to use. His wife, Alyssa, and Mark Sieverkropp are also working with him. Also, Lily Kreitinger has put Mark on the Entreprenuer’s Spotlight on her blog.
Today’s Scripture is Hebrews 4:9-10: “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.”
Happen to Your Career is having an Indiegogo campaign to raise money for their business, including an upcoming podcast. You can find the campaign here: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/happen-to-your-career-podcast-launch-and-beyond

Scott was able to get some information out of me about an upcoming podcast. Mark Sieverkropp and I are launching a podcast based on Fox’s TV show, 24 (The24Podcast.com). The last season aired three years ago, but they have announced that a new season would be coming in May 2014. We’ll be launching a promotional video soon (hopefully this week), and should have the podcast rolling out by the end of August.
I’m also thinking about starting a daily podcast (might be just Monday – Friday). It’ll basically be a short devotional podcast – maybe 5-10 minutes each. I think that it can be very beneficial and helpful to a lot of people to have a short, daily encouragement from the Bible. (note: hopefully you are reading the Bible for yourself, too – this will just be an additional booster shot for the day) Let me know what you think.
The six-month anniversary of this podcast is approaching! This podcast launched on February 19, so get ready for some great things the week of August 19 (podcast on the 21st). I am looking for feedback from you to share on the show. I would especially like to have some audio clips from you to play. On the feedback page, you can leave a voicemail, or you can record something and e-mail it to firstname.lastname@example.org. There will also be a giveaway – details to come soon!
