Choosing Sides

Choosing Sides

And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

Luke 9:49-50

This short passage is an encouragement and reminder to me that, just because we choose to go a certain direction, doesn’t mean that we are opposed to someone (or some group) going a different direction. Their direction is just not the direction for us at this time.

This is especially relevant to me and my family at this time (I’ll reveal some a little later). Hopefully, it helps you, too.

How do you view this idea of choosing sides or going different directions?

Thanks for the passage, to often I think in our teams at work we assume because someone is not with us they are against us. But in reality the opposite is true, it they aren’t against us then they are for us. Good passage to keep in mind, if they aren’t against us then they are for us.
